Isabella is organized and thoughtful in her work, and her leadership in the classroom contributes to the success of all. Going beyond traditional metrics of excellence like perfect attendance and A Honor Roll, she has served as an outstanding representative of our campus through her extracurriculars, especially as a member of the CISD Intermediate Honor Choir. Her kindness and generosity are unparalleled, and she is always the first to share, whether it is a friendly smile, or her stack of multiplication flashcards for a head-to-head math challenge while waiting for the bus each afternoon. She exemplifies what it means to be a Wilkerson Wildcat, and she is The Texas Standard.

Ms. Lyn is more than just an exceptional paraprofessional. She is an outstanding teammate and valued member of the Wilkerson Family. She goes above and beyond in the care of her students, and is instrumental in helping to create the inclusive atmosphere that makes our life skills program so special. The work she does as a part of that team is second to none, and her patience and positivity in support of all Wildcats has an enduring impact across campus. She is the Texas Standard!

Mr. Austin is an amazing educator, consummate teammate, trusted mentor, and so much more. From welcoming students to campus from their buses every morning, to sharing digital resources he created with other teachers or his steadfast and supportive communication with parents, one could wonder how he finds time and energy to create and deliver the fun, engaging, and meaningful lessons for his classes. He does it all and more with a 1000-megawatt smile on his face and an abundance of peace and love in his heart. He is an unstoppable force of positivity and can often be heard greeting students and staff members alike with "What's going on rock star?" Truth be told, he is the real rock star, and he is definitely The Texas Standard.
