This team has come together to support each other and cover when they were short-staffed or when students have needed more support. They show up with a smile on their faces and always do what is best for their classroom and their students. They wear many hats and teach students with many different needs and learning goals/styles, but they all have one common goal - they all care about students and their success. This team has grit and tenacity, and they are all an integral part of the Wildcat staff!
We Did it! The Wilkerson Wildcats hit our fundraising stretch goal of $20,000. We will now have a dunk tank to give students a chance to dunk teachers and administrators at the End of the Year Bash! Thank you to all the family, friends, and community members that donated.

Ms. Garcia worked so hard to make sure we had in class support binders ready to go at the beginning of the year. She has stepped up to help in the life skills classroom and offer breaks to teachers and paraprofessionals. She is a great support for the special education team and is always an advocate for students.
Book Fair Permission Form – Action Required
Due to new Texas legislation, parent/guardian permission is required for students to independently select books at the school book fair. If you have not already completed the required library permission form, or your student is new to our campus, please complete the form. Also, the book fair is completely cashless now. In order for your student to purchase books, you must create a digital wallet for them by clicking on the link below.

Mr. Rodriguez hit the ground running when he joined the Wilkerson staff. He has stepped up as the 5th grade science team lead, mentored new teachers, covered classes, stayed after school with students who have missed their bus…the list goes on. He has built positive relationships with his students, parents, and co-workers. He has been a great addition to our staff, and we appreciate him!

Ms. Herrera has jumped right into her new role as eSped Clerk. She has been busy scheduling ARD meetings…and rescheduling when things come up. She has done a great job at lunch duty getting to know our students and checking in on them daily. She is kind and welcoming, and she is an integral part of our campus and the special education team!

Monday, November 2, 2026 is a district holiday. Tuesday, November 3, 2026 is election day and staff development day. There is no school for students on these days. We will be excited to to welcome our wildcats back on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

COLOR RUN WEEK IS HERE!
Our Wildcats are counting down to Friday, October 30! We are closing in on our original $15,000 fundraising goal and aiming for a $20,000 stretch goal. The top 10 student fundraisers in each grade get to throw color during the other grade’s run. The highest-dollar fundraising homeroom in each grade gets to SLIME the principals (and possibly teachers). And if our school reaches $20,000, we’ll unlock a dunk tank featuring principals and teachers!

Join us at Wilkerson Intermediate on Tuesday 10/27 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for our Community Connection Night. You'll be able to connect with counselors and administrators and get assistance from staff on using the CISD APP, finding info in the Home Access Center, and applying for the Free and Reduced Meal Program. CISD Counseling will be there to give a presentation on Helping Your Child Navigate Friendship and Conflict, and we will have hotdogs and chips for the whole family.
