This is the perfect time to get the best books for summer, but the book fair is only open for 3 days! Stop by after school on Thursday, 5/14 from 6:00-8:00 to shop at the book fair and then view some amazing student artwork at the Art Exhibition!

Her kindness and generosity are unparalleled, and she is always the first to share, whether it is a friendly smile, or her stack of multiplication flashcards for a head-to-head math challenge while waiting for the bus each afternoon. From welcoming students to campus from their buses every morning, to sharing digital resources he created with other teachers or his steadfast and supportive communication with parents, one could wonder how he finds time and energy to create and deliver the fun, engaging, and meaningful lessons for his classes. He does it all and more with a 1000-megawatt smile on his face and an abundance of peace and love in his heart. He is an unstoppable force of positivity and can often be heard greeting students and staff members alike with "What's going on rock star?" Truth be told, he is the real rock star, and he is definitely The Texas Standard.

Our 5th graders will be taking their Science STAAR test tomorrow! (4/15)
We want all of families to be be aware of these important reminders and encourage our Wildcats to show up and do their best. Please remember that our campus will be closed to all visitors. (This also applies to 6th graders that are not testing.)

⭐Get a Good Night's Sleep.
⭐If possible, please leave phones and smartwatches at home.
⭐Bring a book to read after testing.
⭐Bring a snack and water.
⭐Do NOT bring blankets, pillows, etc.

Our students have worked hard all year to reach their learning goals. Now it is time to show off what they know. Here are some important STAAR reminders as we begin testing tomorrow.
⭐Get a Good Night's Sleep.
⭐If possible, please leave phones and smartwatches at home.
⭐Bring a book to read after testing.
⭐Bring a snack and water.
⭐Do NOT bring blankets, pillows, etc.
⭐Dress comfortably, but in within dress code.
⭐Please remember that our campus will be closed to visitors on Wednesday and Thursday.
This is also a good time to remind our families that students should not be brining energy drinks to be consumed at school, as we've seen a recent increase since spring break.
