Our Color Run is coming on Friday, October 30, and it all starts with registering your Wildcat.

This week only:

• If your student has registered by today (Tuesday) they will earn 5 Paws.

• Everyone who registers gets a fun mystery prize on Friday.

• If 50% of our school is registered by Thursday at noon, the whole school gets to wear PJ Bottoms on Friday!

• Each grade's top class (by percent registered) wins a popcorn party at lunch Friday.

Thank you to everyone that attended the Fall Carnival tonight. It was a great success and such a blast to have some extra fun with our Wildcats! Remember that Friday 10/9 and Monday 10/12 are student holidays, so please enjoy the 4-day weekend. When we see everyone again on Tuesday 10/13, we will be starting our school day at a new time, 8:45am.

Our Fall Carnival is just two days away! Students planning to attend must have completed and returned the permission slip with payment by 4:15 pm today.

Parents who would like to attend the carnival with their Wilkerson student must complete the pre-registration form linked below. Parents attending will enter through the front doors between 4:30 PM and 4:45 PM to pick up their badge. As stated above, this event is designed for Wilkerson students only, please do not bring siblings.

Our Wilkerson faculty and staff will be monitoring the students as they enjoy all the activities. Students will be held to our Wilkerson behavior expectations including the cell phone policy. If there is a reason that a student needs to call home, they will be able to use a school phone. Cell phones will be stored in the student's backpack in their classroom during the carnival. Classroom doors will be locked.


Picking up Early?

We will start gathering students for dismissal at 6:30 PM. If you need to pick up your child before 6:30 PM, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher. Early pick up times will be at 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Early pick up for both grades will take place at the back of the building at the cafeteria.


Carnival Car Line

5th Grade students will be picked up in the front circle drive. 6th grade students will be picked up at the bus ramp in the back parking lot off of CISD Access Road. For directions, see http://tiny.conroeisd.net/uudje. Combination 5th and 6th grade cars will pick up at the back of the building. Students will receive a Car Line Tag on Wednesday for parents to display in their windshield when picking up from the carnival.

An email regarding a schedule change for our school day was sent by the district earlier today. Please see the information below with our new schedule.


School Schedule Update Beginning October 13

Beginning Tuesday, October 13, our school day will be adjusted slightly to add instructional time. Because Conroe ISD used an inclement weather day early this year, this change will help cover the missed day and provide a banked day in case of another weather closure.

Our updated school schedule can be found at https://aptg.co/HF8fc8. The District worked with Transportation to prevent changes to bus pick up and campus arrival times. Please review the new times and plan accordingly.

Thank you for your flexibility as we prepare for the possibility of more severe weather this year.

Wilkerson's New Schedule
We are adding five minutes to the beginning of the day.
Classroom instruction will begin at 8:45 AM and end at 4:05 PM.
